How to replace the insulin pen cartridge
The replacement steps for insulin pen cartridges mainly include opening the pen cap, unscrewing the CARTRIDGE HOLDER, pouring out the old cartridge, installing a new cartridge, tightening the cartridge HOLDER, and discharging bubbles. The usage of insulin pens produced by different manufacturers may vary. Firstly, it is necessary to wash both hands thoroughly and carefully check whether the new cartridge bottle is complete, whether the color and properties of the solution are abnormal, whether there are impurities, whether it is within the date of use, and so on. Open the cap of the insulin pen, unscrew the insulin pen cartridge HOLDER, be careful not to let the piston inside fall out, then take out a new insulin pen cartridge, put the small end of the cartridge inward, and then tighten the connection between the cartridge HOLDER and the pen body. Install a new needle at the pen head, stand the insulin pen upright, twist a few units of insulin, and empty the bubbles.
